Kim Kardashian Robbery & Investigation
The reality TV star was left badly shaken after the incident. Kim stayed out of the limelight for a very long time after the incident. Her mouth was shut with tape and she was forced in a bath tub. Kim recently shared her traumatic experience in a trailer for season 13 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The star recalled thinking: “They’re going to shoot me in the back. There’s no way out.” She added: “It makes me so upset to think about it.”
Initially many doubted her former bodyguard of four years, Pascal Duvier. The doubts seem to have cleared after the arrest of the driver. The 27 years old apparently provided inside information to the robbers. However, his exact involvement is unclear as of now.
The Suspects of Kim Kardashian Robbery
17 arrested suspects also include the 5 robbers who disguised as policemen. They were arrested Monday morning in different locations around Paris and other surrounding cities. Police identified one of them via DNA found on a roll of adhesive tape that the robbers had used to bind Kardashian’s hands.
Most of these suspects are seasoned criminals known by French police, mostly for crimes like drug and counterfeit trafficking and armed robberies. Three of the suspects are women and the eldest is 72 years old.
Police identified the 72 years old man as Pierre B and believes that he played an organizational role in the crime. He reportedly has a history of counterfeiting and police have seized a camping trailer found parked on his property as evidence.
As for Kim, she seems to be enjoying her slow life ever since she was robbed. “Taking time off after the robbery has really changed Kim — and for the better,” a source told PEOPLE last week.
“As time went on, she realized that she actually loved her slower life. She feels very grateful that she has been able to spend the past few months just focusing on her kids. She thinks they are growing too fast and she has enjoyed spending more quiet time with them.”
