Britney Spears showed a bit more than she probably wanted to during her Las Vegas residency show Wednesday night. The singer suffered a pretty obvious wardrobe malfunction on stage when her dazzling green leotard fell off, exposing her bare breast to the entire audience.
Britney was mid-song when the incident happened. But unlike some performers, she reacted to her nip slip with the highest degree of professionalism. According to Fox News, the “Piece of Me” singer continued dancing and hitting every move to perfection while her staff figured the situation out.
But, of course, some eagle-eyed fans were quick to take a snap and record the whole thing before Britney can even recover. And while it is not the first time for Brit, the Britney Spears nip slip video shook the netizens when it hit online this week.
Britney Spears Nip Slip: Wardrobe Mishaps
The last time this happened to her was back in October 2016, Hollywood Life notes things went awfully wrong back then when her bra came undone during a concert. As recalled, Britney was performing “I Love Rock N’ Roll” when the incident happened and a dancer rushed to her rescue to redo the part.
It reportedly came off again. However, being the amazing pop star that she is, Britney still ignored the blunder and continued singing. The year before, the zipper of her bodysuit also popped open and still, she did not stop performing. With that, there is definitely no denying that she is a pro at sticking to “the show must go on,” no matter what.
Just like the most recent wardrobe malfunction, videos of the past incidents also went viral online. But fans have ultimately forgotten about it over time.
Britney Ever After
In related news, Lifetime is detailing the “Toxic” chart topper’s life in a biopic titled Britney Ever After. The film focuses on the start of Britney’s career, and her relationships with both Justin Timberlake and Kevin Federline. Per Elite Daily, Natasha Bassett portrays the songstress alongside Clayton Chitty as Federline and Nathan Keyes as Timberlake.
The latest trailer the network released features how Birtney’s peak days as a teenage pop superstar devolved into chaos. As Bassett’s Spears expressed in a blunt drawl: “I’m not gonna sugarcoat it and say I was fine.”
However, Britney, herself, may not be tuning into the TV movie. US Weekly reports a representative made it clear that “Britney Spears will not be contributing in any way, shape or form to the Lifetime biopic nor does it have her blessing.”
Britney Ever After airs Feb. 18 on Lifetime. Check out the new trailer below!
