Sorry, Dragon Ball Super fans, there was no August 14 episode, you’ll have to wait a few more days to get your Dragon Ball fix. Episode 55 is now scheduled to air this coming August 21, Sunday.
Dragon Ball Super episode was due to air last August 14, but because of the 2016 Rio Olympics, Fuji TV decided to make some broadcast changes; changes that inevitably conflicted with our favorite anime show.
In Episode 55, fans are expecting the return of the Omni-King; the episode is entitled, “Hey, I Wanna Meet Son Goku. A Summons from the Omni-King.” In episode 55, the God of Destruction, Beerus, orders our hero, Son Goku, to meet the Omni-King. If the Omni-King is in any way displeased with our intrepid hero, there’s a chance that the universe will be wiped out.
A lot is at stake, but Goku still shows his carefree manner – despite all the things at risk. What are the Omni-King’s true intention regarding Son Goku?
Viewers will need to wait till Sunday to find out. Naturally, episodes 56 and 57 will be bumped off their projected schedules as well. Episode 56 is entitled “Rematch with Goku Black! Introducing Super Saiyan Rose!!” and is set to be released on August 28, Sunday.
Episode 57, is as of yet untitled, but the synopsis by Fuji TV is very telling. The synopsis alludes to Son Goku finally achieving Super Saiyan Blue and uses his newfound powers to fight Black. An intense battle then ensues.
Let’s hope there will be no more rescheduling for our favorite Anime series. With the 2016 Rio Olympics still underway, there’s a good chance for more reschedules for Dragon Ball Super. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed. For more news about Son Goku and the rest of the gang and other entertainment news like this one, keep reading TechPlz.
