Wireless earbuds have become quite an advancement in the audiophile world. Being wireless, they come with their own set of pros and cons. While Apple’s own wireless Bluetooth earbuds, called AirPods, are arguably one of the more popular options, there are now some alternatives in the market that give the AirPods a run for their money.

Enter the Jabra Elite 65t. Whereas Jabra’s previous Elite Sport wasn’t quite the contender against the Apple AirPods, the Elite 65t, on the other hand, have their own advantages that trump Apple’s wireless earbuds.

Jabra Elite 65t Wireless Earbuds: What You Need to Know

The Jabra Elite 65t come as an improvement of the Elite Sport with their improved battery life and compact design. Although the Elite 65t does away with the Elite Sport’s heart-rate monitor, this at least allows the earbuds to sport a more refined look to them. The battery life of the Elite 65t, meanwhile, is on par with that of the AirPods at five hours. It bests the battery life of the Elite Sport, which comes to four and a half hours.

The Elite 65t boasts of an IP55 rating, which means that it is water resistant to an extent. Furthermore, its silicone tips offer a more snug and secure fit in the ear. The earbuds come with three different sized eartips, so the fit can be adjusted if necessary.

The battery charging case is also compact in size, making it ideal for on-the-go lifestyles and travel. Notably, the charging case is capable of giving an additional two charges to the Elite 65t earbuds. With the Jabra Sound+ app, users can utilize the integration of voice assistants, such as Apple’s Siri or Amazon’s Alexa.

In terms of sound quality, the Elite 65t definitely delivers quality audio. Though not entirely noise-cancelling, the Elite 65t’s firm fit in the ears does the job for noise suppression. The listening experience can be further adjusted and tailored to your tastes with its custom equalizer settings. Being noise-isolating earbuds, the Elite 65t — unlike the AirPods — can shut out ambient noise.

Jabra Elite 65t Price

At $170, the Elite 65t earbuds are significantly cheaper than its predecessor, the Elite Sport, which cost $250 during its initial launch. That said, it’s worth noting that the Elite 65t’s price is a little higher than that of Apple’s AirPods, which come with a $160 price tag. However, it all boils down to preferences and what suits your needs best.
