The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S was one of the best reviewed laptops in 2016. Critics praised its excellent design, vivid display, and most especially, the included keyboard cover. Essentially, the Windows 10 tablet can replace your laptop easily.
Samsung is following up their successful tablet with the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S2. The company has not yet officially announced the device, but the specs has already leaked on the net. Samsung seems to be planning to stick to the formula of the last TabPro S. A good thing, since the previous tablet was such a success in the market, notes The Verge.
Tech website TheLeaker was the one who released the specs of the upcoming device. The leak revealed that there will be four variants of the TabPro S2. The variations will depend on the features the customer want. Variants include one with Windows 10 Home or Pro, and one with LTE connectivity or none.

Samsung apparently wants to make their new Windows 10 tablet more powerful. This time, the tablet will use the more powerful Intel Core i5 processor. This means that the TabPro S2 will have a significant speed bump from the previous model.
The 2016 model was only equipped with Intel’s low-powered M-series of Intel processors. The processors comsumed less power, and did not require ventilation fans, but were slower than normal Intel chipsets.

The tablet will als feature a standard 4GB of fast LPDDR3 RAM, a 128GB solid state drive, and a 5070mAh battery. The tablet will also come with a 25W Turbocharger. The TabPro S2 will also have an upgraded 13 megapixel rear camera, and a 5 megapixel front facing cam.

Price & Release Date
Port selections are also improved over last year’s model. The TabPro S2 will have an SD card slot, two USB Type C ports, and an optional LTE capability. The S-Pen stylus and keyboard cover will be included. This is the previous model’s main selling point, since its competition, the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, did not come with a keyboard cover. Customers had to buy it separately.
Samsung is expected to reveal the device at the upcoming MWC 2017 this February. Pricing is rumored to start at $1299.
